Ian McNickle, MBA has a unique perspective at DSO Tech Solutions. He is currently Co-founder and CEO of ICON Dental Partners, a rapidly growing national DSO. He also serves as a Partner and Advisor to DSO Tech Solutions due to his partnership at The DSO Project with Dr Jeromy Dixson. He is also a Co-founder and Partner at WEO Media, a 4-time Best of Class award winning dental marketing agency. Ian is a nationally recognized expert on dental practice and DSO marketing and growth. In addition, Ian has been named a Top CE Leader and Consultant by Dentistry Today for 5 consecutive years. Ian has lectured all over North America at major dental conferences, study clubs, private events, and conducts numerous seminars and webinars. His teaching style breaks down the complexities of dental marketing in an easy-to-understand approach that the non-marketer can comprehend and implement. He has written dozens of articles on various aspects of digital marketing for publications such as Dental Economics, Dental Products Report, Orthodontic Practice US, Implant Practice US, Endodontic Practice US, Dental Sleep Practice US, The Progressive Dentist, and others. In 2019, Ian released the DSO growth book "Mastering Practice Growth" providing dentists a detailed roadmap to grow their practice or group/DSO. Prior to The DSO Project and WEO Media, Ian worked in the high-tech industry for 10 years in various engineering and management positions at Siltronic and Xerox. He left high-tech in 2006 to start a regional business and marketing consulting firm which he ran for several years before eventually co-founding WEO Media in 2009. Education
PersonalIan is an avid endurance athlete having completed dozens of endurance events including Ironman triathlon, marathon, and ultramarathon events. His favorite activity is simply spending time with his wife and three kids. |
